Juristech is hiring IP Telephony Engineer! This is an exciting job where you shall be trained and guided in telephony applications such as Asterisk and Avaya, Linux networking, ACD, IVR and computer telephony integrations. You shall be responsible for the setup of these telephony applications in projects and also resolving incidents and trouble tickets that are received from our clients.

Juris IP Telephony Engineers shall be trained to troubleshoot and configure Voice over IP servers and extensions and other applications such as Preview and Predictive Dialer. Applicants with experience in Predictive Dialers such as Vicidial and in-depth understanding of architectures such as clustering, Linux and Asterisk script programming is a definite advantage

Applicants must have a strong background and understanding of SIP and VOIP communications. Applicants with proficiency in LAN, WAN, and Linux networking is an added advantage


  • Responsible for the installation, upgrade, configuration, and maintenance of Asterisk telephony servers
  • Designing ACD and IVR call flow for contact centres
  • Integrating Juris software suite with Asterisk
  • Generating telephony reports including Inbound/Outbound calls, Agent Performance and Call Recording
  • Implementing Preview/Predictive dialer based on customer needs
  • Troubleshooting VOIP/SIP related issues including LAN/WAN environment
  • Communicate project status, deliverables, priorities and problems
  • Escalate telephony support tickets and complicated tasks to supervisor as necessary in a timely manner


  • Basic knowledge in telephony concepts and VoIP/SIP
  • Familiar with Linux networking concept and commands
  • Familiar with Asterisk Telephony System and Asterisk native dialplan
  • Familiar with PHP programming language is an added advantage
  • Experience in SQL and PL/SQL commands is preferable
  • Familiar with Lua or Perl programming language is an advantage
